About Quick! Nursing Assistant Training
|
|
A Different Approach:
The Quick! Nursing Assistant Training program is designed to help students learn by providing a fun, interactive learning environment in an informal setting. Students participate in discussion and role-playing. They practice some skills on a manikin, but most skills are practiced on each other. Students will, for example, feed each other and brush each other's teeth.
They learn in a safe, nurturing environment and are then guided and encouraged by the staff as they move through their clinical experience in a real nursing setting.
This program recognizes that some people prefer to proceed through training in as short a time as possible. The program can be completed in one month.
Upon completion of the training program, students must pass the Oregon State Board of Nursing examination in order to receive their certification.
