While our project is in its early stages and we’re working to secure
sponsors, we’ve already begun networking with musicians, preparing
some of our compositions, and planning logistics with a local studio
based in Portland, Oregon, where the core tracks will be recorded.
Guest and Featured artists will add their own tracks remotely,
allowing us to record together regardless of location.

The Spectrum Collective is a
group of musicians collaborating to spread awareness, acceptance, and
understanding of autism. Our recording project will bring together
musicians from across the USA to collaborate on an album of original
jazz and soul music. What makes our project unique is the mix of
featured artists, who are well established in the music industry, with
guest artists on the autism spectrum. Music brings us all together and
this project will show that music transcends labels, when we play
we’re all equal.
In addition to a full album of original music we will be documenting
our project with a filmmaker to share the story of our artists and
show how all the parts come together in the studio. Our goal is to
celebrate individuals on the autism spectrum and spread a positive
message to inspire others.
Once the album is complete it will be available for purchase both
by song and as a whole. All of the proceeds will go directly to a
nonprofit partner who works to support the autism community.
